In 2006, I painted this abstract with acrylics on canvas. Sometimes such a painting is the result of serious meditation, a reflection of important purpose, emotional involvement, or a necessary accompaniment (the same as breathing and heart beat) to life. Other times, an abstract can be as simple as a pleasing passtime, a joy of following the flow of paint on a brush, a completely unplanned product of a careless nature, or the essence of freedom in creating something original.
